Camellias

Camellias are wonderful evergreen shrubs with fall through winter and early Spring blooms depending on the variety.  Camellias come in a wide range of colors, sizes, and bloom types.  Camellia Japonicas typically have larger leaves and are less tolerant of afternoon sun.  Camellia Sasanquas have smaller leaves and can tolerate some afternoon sun.

Consider a camellia for a patio tree, large specimen shrub, hedges, or foundation planting.
