Gala: Zones 4-8. Fruit is golden yellow with reddish-orange blush. Flesh is firm, crisp, sweet, and juicy. Will take summer heat. Repens September. 500 Chill hours. Pollination: Partial. Use red or golden delicious.
Winesap: Zones 5-8. Fruit is medium to large. Red skin with yellow flesh. Tart flavor with crisp, juicy texture. Excellent for fresh eating, baking, and juice. 800 chill hours. Pollination: Required. Yellow Delicious.
