Anna: Zones 4-9.  Fruit is large with greenish yellow skin with red blush.  Sweet, slightly tart, crisp, white flesh.  Produces at an early age.  Will take summer heat.  300 chill hours.  Pollination: Required.  Dorsett, Ein Shemer, or Granny Smith.

Dorsett Gold: Zones 6-11.  Yellow skin with a light red blush.  Sweet, crisp, and firm.  Will take summer heat.  Rewuires less than 100 chill hours.  Pollination:  Partial.  Pollinze with Red Delicious or Yellow/Golden Delicious.

Gala: Zones 4-8.  Fruit is golden yellow with reddish-orange blush.  Flesh is firm, crisp, sweet, and juicy.  Will take summer heat.  Repens September.  500 Chill hours.  Pollination: Partial.  Use red or golden delicious.


Winesap: Zones 5-8.  Fruit is medium to large.  Red skin with yellow flesh.  Tart flavor with crisp, juicy texture.  Excellent for fresh eating, baking, and juice.  800 chill hours.  Pollination: Required.  Yellow Delicious.


Yellow/ Golden Delicious: Zones 5-9.  A popular favorite great to use as pollinizer.  Fruit has a mild, sweet flavor.  Ripens in late summer.  Requires 600-700 Chill hours.  Pollination: Self-pollinating.


Red Fuji: Zones 4-8.  Fruit is firm, sweet tasing.  Keeps well.  Will take summer heat.  less than 400 chill hours.  Pollination: Required.  Use Red or Yellow/ Golden Delicious as pollinizer.


Granny Smith: Zones 5-9.  Large green fruit with glossy, smooth skin.  Great quality, tart-sweet, all-purpose apple.  Repens early fall.  Requires 500-600 chill hours.  Pollination: Partial.  Use red or Yellow Delicious as pollinizer.
