Flordahome: Zones 6-10. Not self-fruitful. (use Pineapple pear as pollinator) Fruit has sweet, smooth textured juicy flesh. Ripens July-August. Blight resistant variety. Pollinate with Pineapple pear. 150-200 Chill hours.
Kieffer: Zones 5-9. Self-fruitful pear. Great pollinator for other pear trees. Consistent producer with medium to large size fruit. Fruit is golden yellow with a red tint and is good for baking and preserving. Allow fruit to store for two weeks before use for best quality. Heat tolerant and blight resistant. 350-400 Chill hours.
LeConte: Not self-fruitful. (Use Kieffer as pollinator) Can be eaten from tree or stored. Consided to be a cross of Chinese sand pear and domestic pear. Flesh resembles Asian pears. Ripens late. 350 Chill hours.
