*Small 1-3" eggshaped or oblong fruit.  When the fruit turns yellow, it has a fruity pineapple spearmint flavor.  There are many descriptions including strawberry and citrus flavors.
Pineapple guava is mildly self-fruiting, but it is recommended to plant more than one if you seek fruit production. 

*Salt spray tolerant and can be used closer to the coastal beach areas.
