Owari Satsuma- Popular, widely grown variety that grows 10-15'.

Brown select Satsuma- More upright growth habit than Owari.

Miho Satsuma- Matures earlier than Owari.  Fruit is sweeter and smaller than Owari.

Seto Satsuma- One of the most cold hardy varieties.  Peel is thinner and smoother than most satsumas.  Ripens early fall. Fruit has a flat shape.  Low amount of seeds.  Sweet flavor.

LA Early Satsuma- Ripens late september to mid-October.  Sweet, easy to peel, seedless, thin skin.

*Citrus trees can be protected with freeze cloth.  Cover the tree and anchor the cloth to the ground allowing heat to rise from the ground.  *We sell freeze cloth by the foot in store, but not online currently.

* Tip- Extend your harves by planting an early satsuma as well as a regular season satsuma tree.
